Caregiver Support Group - Meeting Biweekly
Join us for our caregiver support group, convening every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Our gatherings take place at the Castleton United Methodist Church, located at 7101 Shadeland Station, Indianapolis, in the Legacy Room. We're here to provide you with the support and resources you need on your caregiving journey. No Registration Required

Whether you're a current or former caregiver, you'll find camaraderie, understanding, and friendship in this supportive gathering. Share memories, laughter, and sometimes tears with fellow caregivers in a safe, inclusive environment. Drop in anytime during Coffee Hour for a cup of coffee, a treat, and meaningful conversation. We're here to ensure you feel supported and less alone on your caregiving journey.

Peace of Mind Seminar Teaches the Value of Preparation

Losing a loved one is a difficult experience for anyone to go through, but the weight of the loss can be lightened knowing we provided them with their final wishes exactly as desired. We invite you to a special presentation on the importance of arranging your final wishes so your loved ones feel confident that you were given what you wanted. This Peace of Mind Seminar will be on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. at Still Waters Adult Day Center (7160 Shadeland Station, Indianapolis, IN 46256). We will outline the steps in the planning process and answer any questions you may have. A delicious dinner will be provided. This presentation is brought to you by Flanner Buchanan Funeral Centers and the Washington Park Cemetery Association. We hope to see you there!

Join Becky and Bob Barton as they share how their lives have changed since Becky’s diagnosis in 2020. Their story will help us as we strive to understand and assist our family members and friends as they learn to live with this condition. Joining them will be Holly Hess from CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions and a representative from the Alzheimer’s Association, sharing what their organizations are doing to help folks like Bob and Becky.
